SUMMARY:Paranormal investigation
DESCRIPTION:Ghostly Encounters UK: Paranormal Investigation at the Alexander Centre \nJoin Ghostly Encounters UK for a thrilling paranormal investigation at the historic Alexander Centre in Faversham. \nOriginally built in the 1860s as Gatefield House by brick-maker Henry Barnes\, the building later became the home of pioneering vascular surgeon and long-serving Mayor\, Sir Sidney Alexander. After his death in 1943\, it was gifted to the local council and used as a civic building. \nWith its preserved attic servants’ quarters\, a former magistrates’ court room\, and even a basement jail cell\, the building has a long and fascinating history. Visitors have reported cold spots\, unexplained door movements\, and an eerie sense of being watched. \nLocated in Faversham—said to be the most haunted town in Kent\, this is your chance to help investigate the Alexander Centre and uncover the secrets of its past. 👻

SUMMARY:Becky Umbers & Eli Matthewson – Edinburgh warm ups
DESCRIPTION:Two multi-award-winning\, 5-star comedians from New Zealand warm up for the Edinburgh Festival. \nBecky Umbers – Tell That Horse To Keep His Mouth Shut\nIn a world overflowing with misinformation\, is the only way to get the truth to hear it straight from the horse’s mouth?\nBut what if that horse disagrees with me?\nWhat if that horse is lying?\nWhat if that horse… is part of the cover-up? \nWe all have that person in the family. The aunt who’s convinced the Earth is flat. The cousin who’s pretty sure the world is secretly run by lizards in human suits. In this show\, Becky dives headfirst into the weird\, wonderful world of conspiracy theories — including a few of her own. \nWhy do people believe these theories? Are they onto something? Are you a conspiracy theorist? Are you a lizard? (Blink twice if yes. Wait\, can lizards blink?) \nTell That Horse To Keep His Mouth Shut is a fun\, silly comedy show that aims to question\, understand— but mostly entertain— at a time when reality itself sounds made up. \nIf you’re hoping for definitive proof the moon landing was fake\, this is not the show for you.But if you’ve ever argued with someone whose theory makes no sense and thought\, “How did we get here?” — welcome. \nEli Matthewson: Youth Mobility \nEli Matthewson is the first ever New Zealander to move to London and he has done it right on time for the end of the world. Just as life was starting to feel safe and secure\, he has thrown it all away and scraped into the UK on the last possible week he could qualify for the youth mobility visa. A show about doing everything you can to make something of yourself before society completely crumbles. \n“Punchlines that whip back around like a tossed ponytail” – Theatreview\n“That most generous of comedy things: a personal show that feels inclusive\, offering a series of vignettes that invite introspection without ever getting preachy.” ★★★★  – The Recs\n“Smart\, silly\, and thoroughly entertaining.”  ★★★★ – EdFest Mag\n★★★★ – Three Weeks\n★★★★ Scotsman\n★★★★ Chortle\n★★★★ Voice Mag
