Meet the famous characters and enjoy the scenes\, speeches and songs\, featuring the Great Money Trick as its centrepiece. \nThis enduring and absorbing classic story of a year in the life of a group of Edwardian painters and decorators is brought to life by Neil Gore using his extensive knowledge of the book and the play\, having performed it in many versions over forty years. \n‘The Ragged Trousered Philanthropists’ follows a group of workers as they renovate ‘The Cave’\, a three-storey town house\, for Mayor Sweater. It traces their hardships and struggles for survival in a complacent and stagnating Edwardian England. These workers are the ‘philanthropists’ who throw themselves into back-breaking work for poverty wages in order to generate profit for their masters. DESCRIPTION:We’re delighted to welcome Si Cranstoun and his band back to Faversham! \nSI CRANSTOUN is a fabulous throwback to the old swing blues shouters of the 1940’s & 1950’s.\nA prolific bandleader and songwriter\, with dancefloor hits “Dynamo”  & “Coupe De Ville” and a chart hit “Kiss on the Lips” which have remained favourites on the vintage scene for over a decade.\nPeople have compared him to many old greats like Jackie Wilson and Wynonie Harris but Si remains his own man with his distinct voice and repertoire.\nSo with Si’s ‘ super happy ‘ charisma and stage presence everyone is guaranteed a joyful show tailored for their dancing feet and listening pleasure. \nThere will be an open dance area at the back of the hall – so you’ll have more room to strut your stuff! \nUnreserved theatre style seating at the front of the hall and reserved VIP Tables for 4 or 6 people are available as before.\nSee our seating plan for details.\nVIP Tables (Red) – Tickets @ £29.00\nUnreserved Theatre style seating (Orange) – £25.00
