Swale Borough Councils Community Safety Unit have partnered with COBRA Defence London to deliver both online and in-person Women’s Safety workshops Girls and Ladies across the Borough.
Due to recent awful events across London, Kent and surrounding areas, women are more and more worried about personal safety and travelling alone.
All workshops are FREE giving you advice and training covering the following and more;
* Safety strategies and tactics on travelling alone
* How to deal with unwanted encounters / situations
* What to do if you feel you are being followed
* Physical techniques to escape grabs and holds – easy to learn and remember
* Places of safety
The in-person workshops also cover a short anti vehicle abduction section, teaching you strategies and techniques to keep safe.
In Person workshops run for 2 -2.5hrs.

The workshop is for all woman over the age of 13 years. (13-16 year olds must be accompanied by a participating adult)
