The Clangers
This is perhaps the most unusual of the Smallfilms productions. Simon grew up around the making of the Clangers in the seventies and tells the story of their creation in a live talk with anecdotal stories, pictures and film clips. So strap yourself in and let’s go!
Simon Postgate is the son of Oliver Postgate the co-creator of many children’s television classics such as Noggin the Nog, The Clangers, Ivor the Engine, The Pogles, The Pingwings and Bagpuss. Simon grew up at the time these programmes were being made. His talks are full of entertaining anecdotes, photos, drawings and film clips, bringing everything to life in a unique and personal way.
