Noggin the Nog
The Saga Noggin the Nog was one of the most distinct and atmospheric of the Smallfilms productions which had many children (including me) hiding behind the sofa peeping anxiously over the cushions, eager not to miss the drama as it unfolded. For those who were there and for some who weren’t, let’s have a look back at what went on. Talk includes images and film clips.
Simon Postgate is the son of Oliver Postgate the co-creator of many children’s television classics such as Noggin the Nog, The Clangers, Ivor the Engine, The Pogles, The Pingwings and Bagpuss. Simon grew up at the time these programmes were being made. His talks are full of entertaining anecdotes, photos, drawings and film clips, bringing everything to life in a unique and personal way.
