We will stumble upon dead bodies. Some will have been murdered in cold blood; some in hot blood. You will discover bodies hastily thrown into shallow graves. A Mayor bloodily murdered by his wife and her boyfriend. Another Faversham man turned pirate who terrorised the seas. Poor women burned as witches. Turn a corner and you will fall across people disfigured by horrible diseases and many children dying before they are able to walk. This is the nasty underbelly of our town. Get used to it!
This is not going to be a nice romp through the past. We are going to take the lid off history and see all the squirmy and slimy things beneath.
