Betty Baker and her band The Swingtones join forces with the Swaggerjacks to create an afternoon of energetic Rock ‘n’ Roll, Jive and Swing. Betty Baker and the Swingtones are a five-piece swing and jive band playing songs from the post-war era, as well as adding a swing twist to recent pop tunes.
The Swaggerjacks are a raw piano, sax and guitar-driven rock ‘n’ roll band, reviving rhythm and blues gems from the 1950s.
The bands will be ably supported by DJ Tiger Terry who will be spinning his vintage platters on the decks. Come along to dance or just to enjoy an afternoon of great music.
