One of us had to go”….

Join an expert local historian in this interactive evening of true crime, which centres on a long-forgotten murder-investigation in a sleepy town on the North Kent coast. The case caused a nationwide sensation – the audience becomes the jury for the night, examining the same evidence presented at the original trial…will you find the prime suspect guilty or not guilty?

They say truth is stranger than fiction and that may well be true of the astonishing story the evening examines: international playboys, toxic love-triangles, celebrated sports stars, multiple mysterious deaths and the most feared ‘hanging judge’ of the day – all feature in a case that made headlines all over the world.

Dr Graham Birrell is a Whitstable historian and after researching the story, thought it deserved to be brought back to wider attention, so join Graham for a barely-believable night of true crime, history and tragedy.
